We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Head of People & Culture (m/w/d), who will lead our HR Team and drive our people strategy forward.

Your role in BizAway:
- People Strategy and Compliance
- Partnering up with the company founders, define the short and mid-term people strategy for BizAwayas a foundation for the years to come
- Regularly review and update HR policies to reflect best practices and the evolving needs of the organization
- Optimize Talent Acquisition and Onboarding
- Develop and Implement a streamlined hiring process that attracts top talent aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop targeted recruitment strategies.
- Develop and execute sourcing plans to attract qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks.
- Enhance employer branding by promoting BizAway
- Enhance Employee Retention and Engagement
- Design and execute programs aimed at improving employee retention, engagement, and satisfaction, focusing on career development and growth opportunities.
- Conduct regular employee feedback surveys and implement action plans based on insights to foster a positive work environment.
- Performance Management and Development
- Establish a robust performance management framework that aligns individual goals with organizational objectives, promoting accountability and high performance.
- Implement leadership development programs and career pathing initiatives to nurture internal talent and prepare future leaders.
- Data-Driven People Metrics
- Establish a people analytic dashboard consisting of key people metrics driving data-informed decision-making and continuous improvement in the People experience at BizAway
- Monitor turnover rates, employee satisfaction scores, headcount cost, and other relevant metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Culture and Values Champion
- Act as a culture champion, promoting the organization’s purpose and values (Proactive, Reliable, Kind) throughout all HR initiatives and employee interactions.
- Foster an inclusive and diverse workplace culture that reflects the company’s values and enhances employee engagement.
- Support for Scaling Operations
- Collaborate with the executive team to align HR strategies with business objectives, ensuring that people initiatives support the scaling of operations.
- Identify and implement scalable HR solutions that can grow with the organization, including technology and processes that enhance efficiency.
- Employee Relations and Support
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, guiding employee relations matters and resolving conflicts effectively
- Demonstrate experience in strategic PEOPLE role with an understanding of PEOPLE best practices and employment laws
- Ensure that employees have access to resources and support for issues related to people policies, procedures, and programs.
- Leadership and Team Development
- Facilitate leadership training and development initiatives to enhance managerial capabilities and foster a high-performance culture across teams.
- Encourage collaboration and communication among teams to build a cohesive and motivated workforce.
Your basic qualifications
- Proven experience in building out an HR function in a fast-growing digital business.
- Strong capacity to build and lead an effective talent acquisition team.
- Strong people management and team collaboration skills.
- Proactive and reliable approach, with excellent organizational skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Proficiency in People Management Systems, MS Office, Google Workplace Suite
We are also interested in
- Experience in a sustainability-related field and performing ESG due diligence.
- Experience with Labour Laws, compensation, and benefits strategies.
- Commercial focus and mindset.
- Ability to work in an evolving, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong English level, verbal and written.
- Any other European language will be considered a plus.
